Skaters in our Advanced CanSkate, STAR Prep, STARSkate, and Competitive programs have the opportunity to attend figure skating competitions throughout the season.

These events provide valuable performance experience, feedback from certified judges, and a chance to build confidence and celebrate progress.

Most competitions are held outside of Yellowknife, and participation is based on coach recommendation and event eligibility.

• Showcase/Interpretive
• Freeskate programs
• Skills and more

Yellowknife Skating Club typically attends two or more out-of-town competitions each season, although the number and location of events may vary year to year.
